Tempered & Heat Strengthened Glass

AGI processes annealed glass through high-temperature furnaces and rapid air-quench systems to produce fully tempered safety glass that is four to five times stronger than standard glass. When broken, tempered glass fractures into small, blunt-edged granules rather than sharp shards, making it mandatory for applications where human safety is a priority.

We also produce heat-strengthened glass — a mid-point between annealed and fully tempered — which offers twice the strength of annealed glass and is preferred for structural applications where spontaneous breakage risk must be minimised. Both products are available in flat and bent configurations, and can be combined with coatings, laminates, or IGU assembly.
