Laminated Glass
AGI produces laminated glass by bonding two or more glass panes together with a PVB (polyvinyl butyral) or SGP (SentryGlas) interlayer under heat and pressure. Upon impact, the interlayer holds the glass fragments in place, preventing penetration and maintaining a barrier even when the glass is broken — a critical safety and security property for high-risk installations.
Our laminated glass range extends from standard safety laminates for balustrades and overhead glazing to advanced bulletproof and blast-resistant configurations for security-sensitive facilities. We work with project consultants and security engineers to specify the correct interlayer thickness, glass build-up, and test certifications to meet project requirements.
