Opacified Glass

AGI produces opacified glass by bonding a coloured polyester film to the rear face of a standard or tempered glass pane, creating a fully opaque panel with a consistent, high-quality appearance viewed from the exterior. This product is the standard solution for spandrel areas in curtain wall and window wall systems, where solid panel zones must visually match the glazed zones without revealing the structure, insulation, or services behind.

Available in a broad palette of solid colours and metallic finishes, opacified glass can be matched to project-specific colour references and produced in standard and custom sizes. Combined with a thermal backing board, it provides an energy-efficient spandrel build-up that meets facade engineering requirements while maintaining the clean, unified appearance of a fully-glazed elevation.
